Something is Missing from These Olympics...

I've grown tired of the overanimated theatrics eminating from the Olympic announcers.

We are no longer excitement deprived souless citizens who require to be told when to get excited. We have the internet.

If there is anything to be learned from the "Girls gone Wild" TV commercials, it is that half the excitement is from the crowd around the event.

I say Notch the TV Announcers WAY DOWNNNNNNN, and bring UPPPPP the live responses to the different Olympic events.

I'm not sure audience participation at a rock concert equates with that at an Olympics event.

However, how many cowbells can we hear before nails on a chalkboard would be a welcome change.

I want to hear the skis swooshing LOUDER than the announcers. I want to see stat splits, not skier spills in slow-motion.

Take the announcer's overacting, and notch it WAYYYYYYY Dowwwwwnnnnnnn.
